First Aintree 100MPH lap

Greg Lewis achieves the magic lap at Aintree #2
All Aintree Race Goers congratulate 'the Professor' on scoring two 100 mph laps in the last power bike race of the day.
Brilliant day at Aintree with many records broken

Dave Holden ; Rob Coward

News of Dave Holden and Rob Coward;
Rob Coward was more seriously hurt than was believed by the club at the time. There have been grafts and plates necessary to his left arm as the photo shows . Dave is going to be in hospital for another fortnight to enable his body, in his words, 'to start working again' Club stalwarts will recognise Tony Shaw, former mega star at Aintree and elsewhere, who was one of the many visitors Dave has had at the Royal Blackburn Hospital (ward B22). Asked about the future, Dave's only remark was that he would have to race 'the little one, if the long one wasn't repaired' Photos were taken by John Abel, who has kept the site informed of the situation. Aintree certainly looks after its own.
